At the end of December 2015, into the second week of January 2016, Maya was thrilled to perform two weeks of concerts at the brand-spanking-new Blue Note Hawaii club on Waikiki Beach. Yes, that’s 24 shows in 12 nights in Honolulu, Hawaii!
Her band was the very first act to take their stage, and was the exclusive artist for the club’s soft opening and New Year’s Eve celebration. Following our residency were artists like Kenny G, Roy Hargrove, and superb Hawaiian talent, Jake Shimabukuro. She was received with encores and standing ovations most nights and looks forward to a new yearly tradition playing in Hawaii.
