Friday FEB 12th “Dance Revolution” anthem was formally released to fans. Maya’s humanitarian anthem, Dance Revolution, in support of VDay’s One Billion Rising campaign to end domestic violence, was commissioned by founder Eve Ensler when the campaign started in 2013. The song, though used in a music video (directed by Rae Maxwell) and in promotional videos directly related to the campaign, had never been mastered and released to the public. On Friday, the original version of the song, as well as an 8 minute “Still Rising” Deep House remix, was released to listeners on all digital platforms (iTunes, Amazon, etc) on Maya’s Azucena Songs label.
